Summary:Marine wood borer activity is reported on the basis of an examination of 26 test panels that were submerged for approximately 1 year (from May 1967 to June 1968) at selected locations in the Newfoundland area. Limnoria lignorum (Rathke) was present consistently at each location, whereas Teredo navalis Linnaeus and Psiloteredo megotara (Hanley) were relatively uncommon.
