Yochelcionella americana (Mollusca) from the Lower Cambrian of Newfoundland

Yochelcionella americana Runnegar and Pojeta, 1980, is described from the Forteau Formation (upper Lower Cambrian) of western Newfoundland. This is only the second occurrence of this distinctive species, originally described from Pennsylvania, and the first certain record of the genus from Canada.
