Description
Summary:Abstract Survey work by the British North East Greenland Project in the Scoresby Sund fjord complex between 70 and 72°N is documented. A number of sites are identified and described, as are two contemporary Inuit playhouses at a current fishing camp. It is indicated that there are opportunities for further archaeological recording within the Scoresby Sund fjord system, although sites within the inner fjord system do not appear to be numerous. Locating them will require determined fieldwork.
