Windermeria aitkeni n. gen. and sp. is an ovate, bilaterally symmetrical, segmented fossil similar to the dickinsoniids; these fossils characterize Neoproterozoic faunas of Australia and the Russian Platform, but had not previously been reported from Laurentia. |
