Summary:Twenty-two specimens of Thuliocyclus prominens , a new palaeocyclid rugose coral genus and species, on a loose slab presumably from the lower Pridolian Barlow Inlet Formation at Cape Rescue on Cornwallis Island, Northwest Territories, Canada, provide a good growth series from neanic to ephebic stages. The new genus shares morphological characteristics with both typical Silurian Palaeocyclidae and more advanced Devonian Hadrophyllidae.
