Summary: | Abstract Micaria tripunctata n. sp. from the Abisko National Park in the Torneträsk area is described and M. pulicaria (Sund.) and M. aenea Thor. are reported from this area for the first time. Diagnoses and descriptions of their copulatory organs are given as also of M. alpina L. Koch, the only species of the genus previously known from the same area. A functional relationship between the retinaculum of the bulb of the male palp and a pair of small grooves, here designated as the retinacular pockets, is suggested. |
