Summary:Abstract Atomaria (s. str.) lapponica n. sp. from Petsamo and northern Sweden, A. (s. str.) ihsseni n. sp. from East and West Germany, Czechoslovakia and Austria, and A. (Anchicera) lundbergi n. sp. from northern Sweden and southern Finland, are described. A. (s. str.) elongatula Erichson (herminea Reitter, n.syn.) is elevated to specific rank and distinguished from A. (s. str.) abietina Reitter (norica Ganglbauer, n. syn.); both north and central European records are given for each species. The north Swedish A. (s. str.) sjoebergi Palm is a n. syn. of umbrina (Gyllenhal).
