Haemogamasus pontiger Berl. (=H. richteri Selln.) in Iceland and Sweden (Acari/Mesostigmata: Laelapidae)

Abstract Max Sellnick (1974) described a new species of the genus Haemogamasus from Iceland viz. H. richteri Sellnick, 1974. This name is synonymized with H. pontiger Berlese, 1904. The species is also recorded from Scandinavia for the first time.
