Summary:Nordland Hospital is based in the town of Bodř, population 40,000, just north of the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. It was established as the central hospital for the county after two district hospitals in Lofoten and Vesterĺlen were amalgamated in 2003. During the last 15 years, psychodrama has been used to treat patients, for staff supervision and in professional and organisational development. This paper describes how psychodrama has been integrated into the psychiatric services as part of the dayto- day treatment programme, its various areas of application and the adaptations that were necessary to adopt psychodrama as a treatment method for patients in deep crisis and with serious psychopathology. El Hospital Nordland, en la ciudad de Bodo, 40.000 habitantes, sobre el Círculo Ártico en el norte de Noruega. Se estableció como hospital central del condado tras la fusión de dos hospitales de distrito, los de Lofoten y Vesteralen, en 2003. Durante los últimos 15 ańos, se ha utilizado el psicodrama para tratar a los pacientes, para la supervisión del personal y para el desarrollo profesional y organizacional. Este trabajo describe cómo se integra el psicodrama en los servicios de psiquiatría como parte del programa diario de tratamiento, sus diversas áreas de aplicación y las adaptaciones que fueron necesarias para adoptar el psicodrama como método de tratamiento para pacientes con crisis profundas y psicopatología grave.
