Description
Summary:The data have been collected during two cruises (25-28 July 2016 & 30 July-2 August 2017) with RV Lance. Samples have been collected from the inner fjord basin to the shelf break station. Samples in front of tidewater glaciers were collected by helicopter and RV Lance in the glacial bays. In 2016, four stations were sampled from RV Lance and eight stations were sampled by a helicopter around the north plume in front of Kronebreen. In 2017, the sampling campaign in the glacial bays was more extensive and included the bays in front of several glaciers around the inner basin. The dataset contains mesozooplankton occurrence (ind/m3). Zooplankton was sampled using a MultiNet Midi at 5 distinct depths and or a WP2 from bottom-surface, both nets were equipped with mesh-size 200 µm. All specimens are identified to the lowest taxonomical level and the occurrence is given for a specific species and stage or size group as ind/m3, and the biomass is calculated based on biomass conversion factors for zooplankton species.
