Summary:Presentation held on 20 April 2023 at the EPB Plenary. The European Polar Board’s (EPB) Plenary includes representatives and alternative representatives of its member institutions (research institutes, logistics operators, funding agencies, scientific academies and government ministries from across Europe), convenestwice a year – in spring and autumn. The Spring Plenary meeting 2023 in Sofia , hosted by the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute on 19th – 20th April 2023. At the 2023 Spring Plenary, the EPB’s new strategy 2023–2027 was finalised and will be soon published together with the 2015-2022 Strategy Accomplishments Booklet .The Spring Plenary meeting was enriched by presentations from external guests that included representatives from several EU-funded Horizon projects (Arctic PASSION, INTERACT III, SO-CHIC and OCEAN:ICE) as well as from the EPB partners: SCAR, IASC and EuroGOOS. OCEAN:ICE was presented by Andrew Meijers (UKRI-BAS).
