Xanthippus brooksi : Vickery, 1997: 230; Haberski et al. , 2021: 44. Remarks. This species is endemic to eastern Alaska, southwestern Yukon, and the delta of Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories. In the vicinity of Kluane Lake it was found on the edges of aspen forest and sagebrush steppe at altitude 800–1250 m (Berman et al. , 1995). The life cycle of this species lasts for two years. The eggs deposited by females do not hatch until the following spring. The progeny spends the next winter as nymphs and reach maturity in the following summer (Vickery & Kewan, 1983).
