This species is widely distributed across Canada and the United States and can be found as far east as New Brunswick and as far south as Arizona and South Carolina. It is divided into four subspecies (Cigliano et al. , 2022) of which the nominotypical one has been recorded from Alaska, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.
