Summary:The fortran code of sea-ice component of Finite volumE Sea ice Ocean Model (FESOM) is extended to include two new discretizations which place discrete velocity components at edges of computational triangular mesh. The code, two test meshes and output data obtained on these meshes are presented, together with the script that will allow to visualize them. The code here is a stand-alone version which is MPI parallelized, but uses global memory for simplicity.
