The orthography of nominal and verbal stems in the Even language is given, which corresponds to the phonemic principle of the Even spelling. It is emphasized that the orthography of derivational and inflectional suffixes in the Even language is subject to certain patterns, according to which suffixes change their appearance due to assimilation and alternation at the junctions of morphemes. Suffixal morphemes in the Even language are more subject to morphonological changes than root morphemes and word stems, and in accordance with the phonemic principle of orthography, the phonetic variation of the suffix is always reflected in writing. In accordance with this, four spelling rules for Even suffixes are determined, depending on their phonetic structure. Article in Journal/Newspaper Yakut Zenodo
