Diagnosis: Hind coxa posteroventrally bare (except in F . barbata ); proboscis rather short, prementum at most 3.0X longer than wide; eye usually haired; mid first tarsomere often with basal toothlike spines; mid and hind tibiae usually with at least 2 setae on each surface (including av , ad , pd or pv surface); lower calypter projecting beyond upper one.
