Lithobius ( Monotarsobius ) insolens — Dányi & Tuf, 2012: 27 (nom. nov.); Nefediev et al ., 2017a: 116 (4 ♂♂, 3 ♀♀, 3 juv.), 2017b: 221 (6 ♂♂, 12 ♀♀, 1 subadult ♀, 1 juv.), 2018: 233 (> 100 ♂ ♀); Nefediev & Farzalieva, 2020: 195 (36 ♂♂, 33 ♀♀); Dyachkov, 2017b: 454 (1 ♂); 2019: 15 (4 ♂♂, 3 ♀♀). Previous records . Kazakhstan: Almaty Region —Dzhungarian Alatau Mts, Koksu River Canyon [Kz5] and East Kazakhstan Region —Tarbagatay Mt. Range, Karakol [Kz23], Urjar [Kz24], Kyzylbulak [Kz25], Sholakterek [Kz26, Kz27] river valleys, Kara-Cheru Mts [Kz47*] (Farzalieva 2006), Saur Mts, Tas Mt. Range [Kz29], Altai Mts, Bukhtarma River Valley [Kz30] (Dyachkov 2019). Habitat records . Riverine forests: Salix , Populus etc. with Rosa , Lonicera etc. bush on 500 m, Populus , Malus , Salix on 1100–1200 m; forests: Betula , Populus , Picea etc. on 1300–1400 m, Populus , Malus , Salix etc. with Rosa , Lonicera etc. bush on 1000 m, Populus , Malus , Salix etc. with Rosa, Lonicera , Amygdalus on 850 m; higly disturbed Populus forest with Salix , Rosa , Lonicera , Crataegus on 1200 m; stony montane tundra (Farzalieva 2006); unknown habitats on 1400, 2230– 2400 m (Dyachkov 2019). Remarks . Known from W Siberia (Russia: Omsk and Altai Regions, and Republic of Altai) (Nefediev et al . 2017a, 2017b, 2018; Nefediev & Farzalieva 2020).
