Diagnosis. Eye lobe well developed with large lenses in both sexes, dorsal crest without large spines, uropod peduncle with medial setae, pleonite 6 longer than uropod peduncle only in female. Description. Holotype adult male, USNM 1125353 Adult male, 2.9 mm. Carapace covered with small tubercles, antennal notch weak, anteroventral margin serrated, with tooth at ventral corner, dorsal sharp fold; pseudorostral lobes 0.4 carapace length; eyelobe 0.1 carapace length with large lenses, eyelobe pigmented; carapace longer than thoracic segments together (Figure 1 A) Paratype adult male, USNM 1125354 Adult male, 2.5 mm. Dorsal view (Figure 1 B). Antennule extending past pseudorostral lobes; peduncle article 1 longest, with fine hairlike setae; article 2 with 2 simple and 1 complex pedunculate setae; article 3 shortest, with simple and complex pedunculate setae; main flagellum of 2 articles, with 2 aesthetasc and 2 simple setae terminally; accessory flagellum minute, of 1 article, with simple setae (Figure 1 C). Antenna peduncle of 5 articles, articles 1–3 unarmed, articles 4–5 bearing ranks of slender setae; flagellum of 16 articles, extending to pleonite 5 (Figure 1 D, 1 E).
