Habitat: rotting moss, leaf-litter and wood in wet forests of Fraxino pannonicae-ulmetum association (Mahunka, 1987). Distribution: Fennoscandia (Niemi et al. , 1997); Eastern Baltic, Western Russia (Karppinen & Krivolutsky, 1982); Caucusus (Karppinen et al. , 1986), Ukraine (Karppinen et al., 1992); USA and Canada (Marshall, Reeves & Norton, 1987).
