REMARKS : The Mediterranean records of the species need to be checked due to the confusion with Malmgreniella lunulata (Delle Chiaje, 1830) (Barnich & Fiege 2001). Malmgreniella castanea (McIntosh, 1876) DISTRIBUTION : NA, CA. LITERATURE RECORDS : Amoureux 1979; Zavodnik 1979; Zavodnik et al . 1985; Požar-Domac 1994; Cantone & Di Pietro 2002; Castelli et al . 2008. OTHER REPORTED NAMES : Malmgrenia castanea McIntosh, 1876; Harmothoe castanea (McIntosh, 1876).
