Eucopia unguiculata (Willemoës-Suhm, 1875) Distribution. Widely distributed in the world oceans in tropical and temperate areas. Atlantic, Indo-Pacific, Antarctica, Philippines. Northwestern Mediterranean Sea. Depth range. 100–6500 m. Habitat. Bathypelagic as adult, young specimens live in considerably higher levels than adults. Iberian Seas published records. SE Bay of Biscay continental slope (Fage 1942, De Jong & Casanova 1997b, Lagardère & Nouvel 1980, Lagardère 1983, 1985, Petryashov 2014). Southern margin of the Cap-Ferret trench (Elizalde et al. 1991, 1993, Elizalde 1994, Sorbe & Weber 1995). Cap Breton canyon (Frutos & Sorbe 2014).
