Lepidura callaina Dasch, 1974 Lepidura callaina Dasch, 1974. 18, 21, 476 (Original description, keyed, comparative illustration of metasoma); Lanfranco, 1974. 203 (Listed); Lanfranco, 1980. 79 (Listed). Diagnosis: Antenna dark brown. Body mostly bluish green (near turquoise blue). Head green with supra-antennal area and vertex dark brown. Prothorax, mesothorax, anterior and posterior margin of all tibiae, all tarsi, anterior margin of T2 and metasomal segments 6–9, including hypopygium and ovipositor sheath, dark brown. Propodeum without areola, but with subpentagonal area delimited by complete lateral longitudinal and posterior transverse carina and incomplete anterior transverse and median longitudinal carina (Fig. 1). Tergites short, emarginated. T7– 9 1/3 as long as ovipositor sheath or longer. Type material: Holotype female (USU, examined).
