Description
Summary:Sycon ciliatum sensu Jenkin 1908 Jenkin (1908: 442) reported this North Atlantic species, described by Fabricius (1780: 448, as Spongia ), from Zanzibar without data other than the size (specimens were 8 x 2 and 5 x 1.25 mm). It is unlikely that a species from North Atlantic occurs in tropical East African waters. The species remains unnamed until it is redescribed. Published as part of Van, Rob W.
