Epimeria cleo sp. nov. is dedicated to the daughter of the first author, who was born during the preparation of this manuscript. The name is a noun in apposition. Description. Head: rostrum as long as head, overreaching distal margin of the first article of antenna 1; eye oval, 0.4 x head height. Pereonites: pereonite 1 subequal in length to head (excluding rostrum), pereonite 2 0.7 x length of pereonite 1, pereonites 1 and 2 lacking mid-dorsal process, bearing apically rounded weak carinate lateral projection; pereonites 3–7 with size-increasing, low mid-dorsal tooth (that of pereonite 2 nearly reduced to a bump); pereonites 3 to 5 bearing mid-lateral carinate projection (apically rounded in pereonite 3–4, apically acute or subacute in pereonite 5); pereonites 6 ...
