A third species, Turbicellepora boreale Hayward & Hansen, 1999, from the shallow sublittoral‒upper bathyal, was described following re-examination of some BIOFAR samples and the collection of the Natural History Museum, London (Hayward & Hansen 1999). The new species described here was also found in the BIOFAR samples.
