Description
Summary:Hippolyte williamsi Schmitt, 1924 A widely distributed species in the Eastern Pacific, ranging from the Gulf of California and the Galápagos southwards to Chiloé Island, southern Chile (Wehrtmann & Carvacho 1997). In their list of material, Wehrtmann & Carvacho (1997) also listed "Calbuco (51°50'S, 73°05'W)" potentially much further south, but this is likely a typographical error for 41°50'S, 73°05'W.
