Diagnosis Straight, slender, depressed conchs with short camerae; sutures with ventral lobe, in some forms also dorsal lobe; siphuncle ventral with tubular or faintly concave segments; short septal necks; endosiphuncular rod; cameral deposits adjacent to siphuncle are present (adopted from Flower 1964).
