This was also reported from sand containing sponge Halicondria sp. along with caprellids, gammarids, ostracods etc. from Bergen, Norway (Viets 1928). Remarks: This species was found in eastern and western North Atlantic (from the Azores to northern Norway), Baltic Sea, and Black Sea among various substrata (Lohmann 1889; Viets 1927a; Newell 1947; Bartsch 1972, 2009; Green & MacQuitty 1987; Abé 1998).
