Three specimens were measured for M. curvirostra : one male (CW = 6.2 mm), one female (7.9 mm), and one ovigerous female (CW = 7.3 mm). All specimens were collected off Havana, Cuba in depths of 363 m. Ovigerous females have been reported as larger than males, with fecundities of five to 52 eggs (Wenner 1982).
