Hyperaspis bigeminata (Randall) NOVA SCOTIA: Colchester County: Upper Bass River, 18 May 1995, 3 June 1995, & 30 June 1995, C. Corkum, 3 specimens, NSMC; Cumberland County: East Leicester, 17 May 1995 & 2 June, 1995, C. Corkum, 15 specimens, NSMC; Fox River, 17 May 1995 & 3 June 1995, C. Corkum, 3 specimens, NSMC; Moose River, 17 May 1995, C. Corkum, NSMC; Guysborough County: Stillwater, 2 June 1995, C. Corkum, NSMC; Kings County: Coldbrook, 15 June 1967, H.B. Specht & M. Walsh, ACNS; Lunenburg County: Bridgewater, 19 June 1965 B. Wright, NSMC. Newly recorded in Nova Scotia. Found throughout the eastern United States and along the Gulf of Mexico coast as far as Texas (Gordon 1985); in Canada found in Ontario, Québec, and New Brunswick (McNamara 1991). In Nova Scotia it has been found exclusively in deciduous forests where most specimens were collected with flight intercept traps.
