Summary:Psednos mexicanus Chernova & Stein, 2002. To 5.1 cm (2 in) SL, 5.9 cm (2.3 in) TL. Two specimens known, one adult and one juvenile. Near Isla Guadalupe, central Baja California. Probably mesopelagic or bathypelagic; depth: holotype collected from midwater between 0 and 1,000 m (3,280 ft) over bottom depths of 3,292 –3,384 m (10,798 –11,100 ft), and the juvenile somewhere between the surface and bottom. All in Chernova and Stein (2002).
