H. arctandria Fjellberg, 1988 – Hypogastrura arctandria Fjellberg, 1988a: 35 – Hypogastrura pannosa (Macnamara) sensu Fjellberg (1985), pro parte AK Fjellberg 1985 as pannosa, 1988a; Babenko & Fjellberg 2006 NU Fjellberg 1988, 1988a; Babenko 1993; Babenko & Fjellberg 2006 AB Christiansen & Bellinger 1998 MB Porco et al. 2014 Remarks: Specimens from the sand dunes at Prudhoe Bay (Alaska) and Baffin Island (NU) recorded by Fjellberg (1985) as H. pannosa have been mentioned in the original description of H. arctandria as being part of the latter. It is described as a littoral species which is "locally common in debris and sea-weeds in the upper littoral zone on sandy beaches" (Fjellberg 1988, p. 6). General distribution: Northern Holarctic.
