Arcoscalpellum recurvirostrum : Newman & Ross, 1971: 79–80, fig. 39. Litoscalpellum recurvirostrum : Zevina, 1974: 14; Zevina, 1981a: 127–128, fig. 88. Material examined. Three adults plus juveniles, all syntypes NHM UK 2013.1071–1073, Stn 150: Indian Ocean, Antarctic and Southern (South of the Kerguelen Islands); 270 m. Diagnosis. Hoek (1883) only, including appendage descriptions. Distribution. Indian Ocean, Antarctic and Southern. Known depth range 195 to 274 m. Remarks. The only descriptions of the appendages are those originally provided by Hoek (1883), new photographs and detailed redescriptions of the appendages are needed.
