Note: Sometimes informally rejected as a nomen ambiguum by earlier authors (see Webb in Proc. Roy. Irish Acad. 53B: 222. 1950), Webb’s typification allows S. groenlandica to fall into the synonymy of S. cespitosa L. Published as part of Jarvis, Charlie, 2007, Chapter 7: Linnaean Plant Names and their Types (part S), pp. 806-877 in Order out of Chaos.
