Summary:IceCube is a gigaton-scale neutrino detector in Antartica. Its large volume enables the measurement of high-energy, in the TeV range, atmospheric neutrinos. Using eight years of through-going muon neutrino data collected by IceCube, we performed a search for light sterile neutrinos motivated by the short-baseline oscillation anomalies.
