The species is known from a photograph taken by H. Robert and Ch. Havermans. The specimen was unavailable for study. Remark This species looks similar to A. pulchra and A. schellenbergi but displays some differences. Pereionites 5 and 6 have each a conspicuous posterodorsal tooth, which is absent in A. pulchra and A. schellenbergi. The pereiopods are striped, which is not the case or not so pronounced in A. pulchra.
