Distribution Central African Republic (Sibut, Bangui, Soulemaka), Congo (Brazzaville), DR Congo (Libenge), Uganda (Buhugu), Angola (Dundo). Hosts Aethomys sp., Crocidura olivieri occidentalis, Deomys ferrugineus, Mastomys natalensis, Mus (Nannomys) sp., Mylomys dybowskii, Oenomys hypoxanthus, Potamogale velox, Rattus rattus, Taterillus emini (type host).
