Hosts Aethomys sp., Crocidura olivieri occidentalis, Deomys ferrugineus, Mastomys natalensis, Mus (Nannomys) sp., Mylomys dybowskii, Oenomys hypoxanthus, Potamogale velox, Rattus rattus, Taterillus emini (type host).
