In Canada it has been previously recorded in Newfoundland and Québec; in the United States it is found in Maine and New Hampshire (Gusarov 2004). Th e species is common in forest leaf litter and moss in boreal forests; it has also been found on dung in gopher burrows (Gusarov 2004).
