Summary:Lanceola sphaerica Vinogradov, 1970 Southwest Pacific: 1090248, 11/930, [70°08’S 109°48’W], 1391 m. Remarks: This is an extremely rare species previously known only from three specimens from the Kurile- Kamchatka region of the North Pacific, from 6000–7000 m (Vinogradov 1957, 1970; Zeidler 2009). Thus, this is a new record for the South Pacific and the Antarctic Zone of the Southwest Pacific Sector.
