Seven vertebrae are visible in this field of view. Osedaxbraziliensis sp. n. had colonised the first two bones on the right B Close-up view of a vertebra colonized by O.braziliensis sp. n. Galatheid crabs (Munidopsis spp.), amphipods (Stephonyx sp.), and gastropods (Rubyspira sp.) were also seen on and around the bones.
