Summary:Specimens of the rare benthopelagic deep-water calanoid Pseudeuchaeta acuticornis Markhaseva et Schulz, 2006 (Copepoda: Calanoida: Aetideidae) were collected in the Kurile Kamchatka Trench area in the northern Pacific at abyssal depths. The morphology of these individuals aligns well with the diagnosis of the species. This is the first record of the species from the Pacific Ocean.
