Recreational programs as attractiveness factor of a suburban accommodation facility

The article discusses the significance and features of recreational programs for suburban accommodation facilities. Recreational programs are aimed at maximum satisfaction of the needs of tourists in the organization of their leisure. The author considers influence of recreational programs on the attractiveness of a suburban accommodation facility. Along with the theoretical concepts of recreational programs, the criteria for developing the concept of their compliance with consumer needs are considered, marketing tools and issues of building a communication system for promoting and positioning them on the market are disclosed. A study of the available recreational programs in suburban accommodation facilities of the Republic of Karelia has been conducted. The problems of their insufficient implementation are identified and the ways of their further development are outlined. The main stages of the formation of programs are highlighted. The main content of the article is related to recommendations on the creation and implementation of recreational programs as a factor of attractiveness of a suburban accommodation facility. The article presents approaches to the development and implementation of recreational programs in suburban accommodation facilities. The programs are aimed at different target audiences, based on principles such as relevance, interactivity, accessibility and safety. Using examples of recreational programs developed by students of the Department of Tourism of Petrozavodsk State University, we can see their diversity depending on the target audience and the customer focus of the guests.
