Summary: | WRF domain is centered at (62°W, 40°N) with a horizontal resolution of 10 km. The horizontal grid dimensions are 399 × 299, covering the western subtropical North Atlantic. Initial and lateral boundary conditions are extracted from ERA5 reanalysis data (0.25 X 0.25). The lateral boundary forcings are updated at 6 hourly intervals. The model was initialized at 00UTC on 15 Feb 2010, and the integration ended at 18 UTC on 17 March 2010. The 5-day average SST output from MITGCM for the same time period was is used to force the WRF model. |
