He is a retired faculty member of the Osgoode Hall Law School where he taught property law, First Nations and the Law, and trusts since 1987. Some of Professor McNeil’s work include land rights, treaty rights and self-government. This work includes his book, Common Law Aboriginal Title, and in his numerous monographs and articles. The Board of Directors would like to welcome Professor McNeil as an Honorary Member within the Indigenous Bar Association!
