Summary:At the 30th Annual Conference, the Indigenous Bar Association welcomed our newest Honorary Member, Professor Kent McNeil. Professor McNeil has been recognized for his outstanding commitments in the area of Indigenous law across Turtle Island and Australia. He is a retired faculty member of the Osgoode Hall Law School where he taught property law, First Nations and the Law, and trusts since 1987. Some of Professor McNeil’s work include land rights, treaty rights and self-government. This work includes his book, Common Law Aboriginal Title, and in his numerous monographs and articles. The Board of Directors would like to welcome Professor McNeil as an Honorary Member within the Indigenous Bar Association!
