| Summary: | Increasing the voter turnout of First Nations in Ontario requires more than merely changing the electoral system in Ontario. Low voter turnout of Aboriginal peoples isn’t simply a matter of voter apathy or alienation, as is often the case among other groups. York's Knowledge Mobilization Unit provides services and funding for faculty, graduate students, and community organizations seeking to maximize the impact of academic research and expertise on public policy, social programming, and professional practice.
