This interview was conducted with World War II Navy veterans; Philip B. Mishoe (1918-1995) and Lloyd Willard Cannon (1918-1992). Both men were natives of Conway, SC and signed up for the Navy before the United States entered the war. While in training, the US declared war and both men were deployed. They discuss their experiences in the war while serving on the U.S.S New York and the U.S.S.
