Donovanosis: Klebsiella granulomatis

Klebsiella granulomatis, a bacteria causing genital ulcers in donovanosis (granuloma inguinale). This is a high power light micrograph of K. granulomatis bacteria in the cytoplasm of macrophages stained with Warthin-Starry silver stain, which stains bacteria and inflammatory cell nuclei black.
