Summary:Study Health In Alaska: U. S. Expedition To Spend Four Months In Lower Yukon. STUDY HEALTH IN ALASKA U. S. Expedition to Spend Four Months In Lower Yukon. SEATTLE, May 10. (/P)—Announcement of a govenment expedition to study health and canitation conditions among the natives in the interior of Alaska, infrequently visited by white men, was made here today by Dr. H. C. Devighne, Juneau, territorial health commissioner. The expedtion will leave Fairbanks June 1 and will be gone four months, Dr. Devighne said. It will visit approximately 100 square miles on the lower Yukon river and tributaries. An appropiration of $30,000 has been made by the deferal government for the work.
