(/P)—Experimentation with "tonal bombs," for use by vessels to loosen and tumble into the sea great masses of Ice from Taku glacier, Alaska, is reported completed by J. D. Gilmour, Seattle. Whistle vibrations of a certain tsound wave frequency, he said, bring about the best ice shattering vibrations. For many years tourists on vessels passing the glacier have seen huge icebergs tumbled into the sea by blasts of ships' whistles.
